The following pages contain graphs of the Calsod results for an impedance compensation network added to this 3-way system. It is used only for the impedance peak at the midrange/tweeter crossover point and for the rising impedance above this. It is applied only to the tweeter circuit. I did this because it resulted in good leveling of the impedance with a minimum of parts (i.e. only one crossover section application required). The woofer/midrange impedance is not compensated, as it does not have a wide variation.Pay particular attention to the summed response. The variation, especially in the tweeter portion, is very apparent. Descriptions as to what is happening is below the graphs. The graphs also speak for themselves.
Another site was created shortly before this one in which can be found a number of measurements taken by the site author (one of the participants in the discussion) on this same topic.
